Steering Group

Steering Group

The Steering Group is the governing body of the LINk and is reponsible for: deciding the work of the LINk; allocating resources and ensuring the LINk complies with its statutory duties.

To ensure the LINk is led by the community, elections to the Steering Group take place on an annual basis, with further positions co-opted throughout the year.

There are 6 places on the Steering Group for co-opted people. These places aim to fill any gaps in skills, knowledge, and experience or to redress any imbalance between individuals and organisations.

The current Steering Group membership is;

Nick Kennedy (Chair)

Jakki Mellor-Ellis (Vice-Chair)

Geoff Dignum (Vice-Chair)

Cynthia White

Steve Stevenson

Joe Batty

Anthony Field

Joanna Rota, from the City of London Corporation, is a co-opted member of the Steering Group.

How was the LINk formed?

The LINk is very grateful to volunteers who formed an initial "Development Group" and worked hard to create governance structures and a firm foundation for the LINk to progress with its work. You can download minutes from meetings of the Development Group below
