Current LINk work

The LINk exists to ensure people have a say in how their local services are delivered, monitored and improved. The main areas of work include:

  • raising awareness of the LINk
  • collecting views and ideas from the community
  • working with statutory partners
  • representing the network on committees
  • responding to consultations, reviews and strategies
  • taking forward key issues

Authorised Representatives

Work areas

The Steering Group has prioritised four key work areas to take forward, from a log of health and social care issues collected from the community. These include:

  1. Two-way information and access to services
  2. Service provision and access in the Portsoken area
  3. Mental health
  4. Patient handover and care
