Current LINk work
The LINk exists to ensure people have a say in how their local services are delivered, monitored and improved. The main areas of work include:
- raising awareness of the LINk
- collecting views and ideas from the community
- working with statutory partners
- representing the network on committees
- responding to consultations, reviews and strategies
- taking forward key issues

Work areas
The Steering Group has prioritised four key work areas to take forward, from a log of health and social care issues collected from the community. These include:
- Two-way information and access to services
- Service provision and access in the Portsoken area
- Mental health
- Patient handover and care
